Accessibility statement
We want mace.ba to be available to everyone, including people who use a keyboard, screen readers or a magnified display. We aim for the WCAG 2.2, level AA standard.
Our commitment
We build accessibility from day one, not as an afterthought. We aim for WCAG 2.2 AA compliance and continuously check new features.
What we've done
• Semantic HTML and ARIA labels (header, main content, footer). • Full keyboard operation and a visible focus on all controls. • A “Skip to main content” link at the top of every page. • Text contrast checked against the AA threshold (4.5:1 for regular text). • Alternative text for images and clear labels on all fields. • Respect for the “reduce motion” setting (prefers-reduced-motion).
Known limitations
Some content (photos and cat descriptions) is entered by users, so its accessibility can vary. We work on continuous improvement and are grateful for feedback.
Report a barrier
If you run into a barrier while using the site, let us know by reporting content or by email. We fix reported issues as soon as we can.
