Guide for volunteers and rescuers

Rescuing cats off the street on your own? This is your place: a public profile, listings and requests, all in one place.

  1. Step 1

    Sign up as a volunteer

Start from the Create an account button: signing up is the same as for individuals, and the “Signing up: Volunteer / rescuer” label above the form confirms you're creating a volunteer profile. You can also use a Google account; if you sign up with email, confirm it so you can post and receive messages.

  2. Step 2

    Confirm your account type

After signing up you confirm the Volunteer / rescuer type. This gives you a public profile, a spot in the directory alongside organizations, and up to 15 active listings.

  3. Step 3

    Fill out your public profile

The name people know you by, the story of your work, a public phone and social links. We don't ask for or publish your home address. You build trust by collaborating with organizations on the Partners page and through your activity on the platform.

  4. Step 4

    Post a cat you've rescued

For each cat you enter a name, photos, a description, health status and location. The listing is visible right away, with your name and a Volunteer badge next to it.

  5. Step 5

Review requests and choose an adopter

Candidates send you requests with a message and their living situation. You choose an adopter (the cat becomes reserved), arrange through messages, and confirm the adoption when the cat goes to its new home.

  6. Step 6

    Your public page

Visitors see your story, contact details and all the cats you're currently rehoming. Share it alongside your social media posts instead of rewriting the same information.
